The good thing about working in such a chaotic environment is that no one notices when you’ve skipped meals. Langdon’s always eaten like a bird, was always teased for it by family and friends. He prefers quick snacks to big meals, and that’s how it’s always been. That’s why he works so well in the Pitt. He shoves a protein bar in his scrub pocket, knowing full well he won’t eat it later. But it makes him feel like his old self, the one before the benzos, when he pretends he still has an appetite.
Langdon has a problem with food.

An ongoing existential crisis, he heard himself say, far back in his mind.
But when every day feels never-ending and too fast-paced at once, Robby was sure that his last month could easily equal a lifetime.

He found himself drawn more and more to that question.

Dennis's situation is a little worse then people think. He spends his nights rotating between shelters and the streets, never having discovered the empty floor. When a stupid accident at the shelter causes him to get hurt, he finds he has a lot of lying to do to his traumatized colleagues the day after the MCI. -

When Dennis moved to Pittsburgh for his first day at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, he thought it would be ordinary. An ordinary internship to inch closer towards his goal of graduating med school and becoming a first year resident.
Nothing more, nothing less. He expected to continue his loner streak, following him from back home in Broken Bow. He expected lots of late nights, early mornings, endless coffees, all-nighters. Even more endless theses, with citation pages as long as novels.
He did not expect to move in with his senior, Dr. Santos. Had not expected to finish out his ER rotation with new friends and a huge and highly inappropriate crush on his senior attending.
Dr. Robby Robinavitch was unexpected.

-In other words, this is a oneshot I wrote where the hospital has their annual Gala, Dennis gets overly drunk, accidentally gets taken home to Robby's apartment, shenanigans ensue, and then he wakes up in Robby's bed the next morning!!! Based around and inspired by some ideas from oomfs on twitter as well, which I will link. I was also inspired by the emmy's ceremony as well, a lot of their outfits are similar to those the actors wore during the red carpet! Enjoy!

Cassie loses a young girl to a drug overdose and feels like she has failed her younger self all over again. Dana comforts her.
