Rays of sunlight pushed into his back, searing hot and burning. To Izuku, it was almost as if they were encouraging him to take the last step off of the 3-story roof, to plummet to his death.
He truly hadn't thought he would end up here, but what Kacchan says goes: and he'd told him to take a swan dive off of the roof.
"The years of torture mustn't go on, child. Maybe you'll be rewarded with a quirk in the next life." the warmth on his shoulders coaxed, pulling him into a hug full of finality. "End it."
And so he did.
But it's never that easy. Not when you're Izuku Midoriya.
