When Cheng Xiaoshi solo-dives in order to fix a disastrous (read: silly and totally salvageable) mistake before Lu Guang notices, he thinks nothing can go wrong. After all, all he's doing is sending an email to confirm a cake order. He'll be in and out in minutes and not change a(n important) thing. Easy! Except, after clapping back to the present, he learns that things have absolutely changed from how he remembers them. Well, at least one thing has.
According to everyone, even Qiao Ling and Lu Guang himself, he and Lu Guang are in, and have been for months now, a totally committed, romantic relationship. As in, a real, romantic, boyfriend/boyfriend relationship with lots. of. kissing. Something he did changed something, clearly, and now he's somehow sped-run himself from friends to lovers with one of the most important people in his life in the span of a clap.
Or, Cheng Xiaoshi screws up the timeline massively. But in like a totally chill way. I promise.
