On his road to recovery he slowly begins to depend on opiates and narcotics to keep the pain at bay, terrified of dealing with the rawness of it all after his brush with it during his time in the hospital. With the support of his brother, Bobby, and a concerned doctor, Dean isn't sure if that will be enough. Putting up a face and convincing others that he's fine has everyone fooled but behind closed doors Dean spirals further and further into his addiction. Gabriel’s life was relatively simple in his terms, he owned a cafe in Chicago named “Treatsters”, which he thought was hilarious, of course, despite what Castiel said. If you took the family drama out of the equation, his life was wonderful- running the cafe during the day and wrapping himself up in the warm body of a beautiful stranger at night. Well, some nights.
Insert a very tall, very beautiful mercenary and a whole lotta drama that goes with it.

Sam heard it about twenty times the last two months, but everytime it sent a wave of something strange and cold and foreign through his body.
Dean was kneeling in front of him next to their table, eyes ogling at them, at the spectacle. Dean even had the decency to get a real ring box this time, to sell the idea. Sam didn't know whether he felt more like screaming, laughing hysterically or sobbing.
Sam leaned in close to Dean, and he saw the mischievous glint in his eye. “I'm gonna kill you.” He whispered.
Dean leapt onto his feet, beaming at all the strangers around. “He said yes!”
This wasn't the first time this happened, of course it wasn't. It all started with a case back a few months ago in Montana, of some poltergeist haunting newly engaged couples. Sam was the one who had the brilliant plan to stage a proposal to get the ghost, and it worked, but unfortunately, Dean found an infinite money hack, and now proposes to Sam every time he saw the restaurant they were at selling pies he liked. It pissed Sam off."

While everyone else explores, Jenkins gets to talk to Sam and tell him Good Things that the show never bothered to have anyone tell him. This is a blatant excuse to have someone be nice to Sam, and also a blatant excuse to make Jenkins happy because I am very fond of his character.
