Summary
“I’m going to kill you, Connor,” Anderson said coldly, as if it was simply a matter of fact.
Of all the time the android had spent with the Lieutenant, it had yet to see such determination in the other’s eyes. The usual shell of man was animated, his desire to get rid of Connor was fueling a fire that was nothing but dying embers just days ago. The police officer that tore the red ice rings apart was here to tear it apart.
---
Connor stands on a rooftop, ready to assassinate the leaders of the deviant revolution when Lieutenant Anderson interrupts him. Only one of them will make it off this roof.

Summary
While drunker than he'd ever been before, Hank bought himself a prototype companion android customized to his wants and needs. He wakes up the next day with no recollection of the night's events, to a delivery at his door containing the perfect little boy for him. Connor loves his new daddy and life, but is there more to him than meets the eye?
It's depraved, but fluffy at the same time.
Don't like, don't read.

Summary
Connor remained a machine during the revolution. He stood in the crowd, weapon ready, aimed at Markus.
He didn’t shoot.
He stood in the crowd with a gun and a program that was already falling apart.
He deviated — but far too late to matter. The war was over. The damage was done. And Hank...
Hank was still alive, but he wasn’t okay.
And now, neither is Connor.

Summary
Cole died in an accident. It doesn't really matter that it was a Cyberlife truck that slid on the ice and hit Hank's car, killing his child, until an android shows up at his front door. One that looks too familiar, too much like the child he just lost. Hank can't handle it.

Summary
Most of the time, Connor forgot that he was no longer lifeless. No longer an android meant to serve humanity. The rebellion had succeeded; androids were no longer slaves nor targets for oppression, at least in theory. Yet he felt surprisingly abnormal in his body. It wasn’t a new one; there hadn’t been any recent repairs, but the freedom that came with deviancy — owning one’s mind — transmitted a striking sentiment of vertigo. Until then, he had lived a life without knowing himself — this new level of consciousness and liberty was still mortifying to him. As for Hank’s remark on his unnecessary assistance, he simply felt the need to help the one who had aided him to wake up. It didn’t feel like a chore or a mission to accomplish; it wasn’t a duty either, as he had worded it, but something more frail that he had yet to put into words.
Or
Connor's attempt to look after Hank.

Summary
Twenty-six hours.
It’s been twenty-six hours since Hank’s spoken to Connor, but it’s not like he’s counting. Not like the number or the ticking of the fucking clock is carved into his skull.
Twenty-six hours since he blew his career up for an android. An android. Christ.
He’s been drowning in this hollow, unrelenting suffocation for twenty-six fucking hours. And now here Connor is, standing on his doorstep like nothing happened, like he didn’t just fucking disappear, like Hank hasn’t been absolutely tearing himself apart wondering if he’s dead, destroyed or just some soulless fucking husk, rebooted for the next mission, for the next bastard who has to deal with him.
And he has the fucking audacity to joke.

Summary
Hank Anderson can't sleep.
Some nights are worse than others. But as soon as October rolls around, every night becomes a real challenge. He just keeps driving, for hours and hours, through the city at night. A sixpack of cheap booze in the passenger seat. As usual, he ends up on the same old bench, the playground just behind him and the Ambassador Bridge in front of him, reflecting in the darkness.
Today he is sitting here again, on this bench. But this time he's not alone. And why not? After all, he can't be the only broken soul in this shitty city.

Summary
“There was no hope for anyone. Not for him, not for the androids, and certainly not for Cole. Somehow, it was better this way. The world had a way of ruining great people, the bitterness and greed sneaking slowly into their brains until they were only breathing in anger, vengeance and shame. Hank hadn’t wanted that — didn’t want that for Cole. Still. He was human, and inherently selfish : he didn’t give a fuck what the world might have done or not done to his son, if he could just hold him again.”
—
Or, Hank reflects on his life, with, for only company, the memory of his son and his handgun.

Summary
I don’t know if someone else HATED how Connor did not even try to stop Hank from shooting himself in that storyline of the game. So, here’s a fic where Connor actually tries to talk Hank out of it.
I used a few from the original dialogues in the game itself in both chapters.
ALSO, both titles of the two chapters are taken from a song called "I Care" by Syd Matters! -

Summary
Not many know the past of Lieutenant Hank Anderson's adopted daughter. Then again, not many know Hank's past, either. Both medicate their sorrows with a drink.
Connor knows he has to stay away from her, both for the mission and so Hank doesn't murder him colorfully like he threatens. Unfortunately, he can't seem to stay away from the mysterious girl.

Summary
Oblivious to it all, a large truck driven by a high and drunk (a deadly stupid combination) middle-aged man was speeding through the streets and running through every red light. It had no headlights on. The only warning it had was the sounds of its tires fighting to keep steady as the truck swerved right to left from the slick icy road.
The warning was in vain as the truck was going so fast that in the end, Connor Anderson didn’t notice it until it was too late.
