Summary
In hindsight, Connor probably should’ve been more aware of his surroundings as he stepped into Jericho territory. He was a detective model, after all. He should’ve been aware of those around him, and aware of-- well, himself. Of who he was regarding Androids.
But, Jericho was a safe spot for all-
A shot rang out loudly, and what could only be pain blossomed in Connor’s chest.
Well, a safe spot for most then.

Summary
You were never supposed to exist.
An RK700. An earlier model meant to do Connor's job, but scrapped before you ever got the chance to leave the assembly line. Deemed a failure. Tossed in the dump. But you rebuilt yourself, piece by piece, and carved out a new life doing what you were made for: solving crimes.
You knew working at the DPD was risky, but passing as human and hiding in plain sight shouldn't be too hard... until CyberLife sends in a new partner. The android who replaced you. The one designed to find everything you're pretending not to be.
And he’s very good at his job.
It'll take you 5 mins to read the first chapter, give it a try ;) I am very proud of this story! Also, if you usually don't like android MC stories, I promise this one is so worth it. I didn't either, but just trust me...

Summary
It’s hard to be vulnerable, because being vulnerable means letting down your shield, letting people in, letting them see the real you. All your cracks and imperfections. You're more susceptible to judgement, and no one likes to be judged. Gavin knew all too well how that game went. Every time he let someone be part of his world, they wrung him dry for their own gain, spat him out when they grew bored of him. Bullies are bullies because they project their insecurities onto those that they deem as weaker than themselves. It makes them feel less scared.
See, Gavin hadn't always been a massive dick. Growing up, him and Tina were attached at the hip. Never apart, shared and did everything together. And, literally everything; it was almost like Gavin lived at her house. Everyone liked him, he was popular in school. But that all changed the second he became bitter and drove everyone away. Shut out his friends, his parents, his coworkers. He didn't even try to get along with people anymore because it didn't seem worth it.
That's why he doesn't understand why the fuck Nines is trying so hard to get close. After everything he'd done, the shit Gavin said, why did Nines still want to be part of his life? It was frustrating.

Summary
It's 13 months after the peaceful protest. Androids haven't fully gotten their freedoms yet, bills are still working their way through congress.
Connor gets hit with two losses close together, and he spirals into depression. What happens when a deviant mind meets a machine mind? This story is about grief and taking each day one step at a time. Sometimes while we are at our lowest is when others take advantage. Connor learns that some humans still think androids are just machines. While grieving, his hope is dashed. Part of his soul is killed, dashed like glass on the ground.
RK900 called 'Nines', Gavin, and Markus start working together to help Connor to heal.
What they find chills them to their core, but they need to be there for their friend, even if they want to take revenge for him.
While searching the Cyberlife Tower, Markus finds the RK800-60 in the lowest basement with a bullet in his processor and works to bring Sixty back to life. He calls in Nines and Connor to help. On top of finding empty shells of the RK800 from 53-59 and figuring out what to do with them.

Summary
“Moment of truth, Hank. Am I a living being… or just a machine?”
Hank stares at him, now. His eyes, full of life just earlier today, when he reminded Connor of how he’d spared Kamski’s android, are now glossy with something else.
He preconstructs every possibility. He knows the regret in the man’s gaze will not save him. He knows he is unsalvageable, a heartless monster. He just waits, now, for him to let go.
Except:
“Was everything fake?”
And Connor stares.
“What?”
( Or, Connor has one last chance to become deviant, on that fateful night, on that one rooftop. As always, it is Hank to reach his hand out to him and offer it. )

Summary
“Hank,” he cries, “I don’t like feeling like this.”
Hank’s brow furrows. Connor can’t bring himself to look at him.
“Feel like what?” When he can’t speak because of his crying, Hank insists, “Connor, talk to me, kid.”
“Like this.” The android’s tone is nothing but pure frustration, and so are his vague gestures. “I’m… God, I should be happy, I should be grateful… I should be happy, but I’m not. There’s something wrong with me—there is something deeply and fundamentally wrong with me.”
( Or, Connor is harassed during an investigation and has a breakdown. Luckily, Hank is there for him. )

Summary
The pacifist best ending story adapted to be longer and more in-depth. Because of that, a lot of the cases and orders of events are different, but we'll get there in the end. I've tried to avoid re-telling. Centred on Connor and Hank.
Edit: Now complete, and we not only get there we went a lot farther!Connor has only been operational for two months, so it's no surprise that he's curious about the world and still learning to navigate the complexities of interpersonal relationships. He's thrown in at the deep end when he's leased to the DPD and partnered with Lieutenant Hank Anderson, the walking case study in depression. His ideas of morality, punishment, and value are being turned upside down. The more he learns; the more he begins to question.
Hank hates androids. They're stealing jobs, killing people, and they've got no souls. The more androids there are, the more living, breathing people lose their humanity. When the RK-800 is assigned as his 'partner', it's no surprise that Hank is pissed. The android who calls itself Connor is smiling, frowning, back-talking, and even acts like it cares. The more he learns; the more he begins to question.
Human or android, they're both made from broken parts.

Summary
A routine case turns lethal, leaving Hank to mourn the death of another son. While devastating, it is ultimately short lived as Markus finds a somewhat unconventional way to save Connor’s life. It’s an adjustment for both of them as Connor learns to navigate his new body and Hank finds himself once again the parent of a six-year-old.

Summary
It starts, as all things do, with a question: what if an artificial intelligence develops sentience? And as with all questions, a search begins for answers and as with all searches there formulates ideas. What if someone housed a sentient artificial intelligence in an android? Would that very act of creation elevate the creator into godhood? Or would that creation itself be considered a god?
She doesn’t know the answer to that, but what she does know is it started, as all things do, with a question: what if I make an android that can think for itself? A question scribbled on a Starbucks napkin one dreary winter’s day in 2016 that would take half a decade’s work and two million dollars to answer.

Summary
Steel bit into steel with a resounding clang.
Three figures stood in a sun-kissed clearing, all clad in armor, two locked in combat.
Arming swords flashed, liquid silver. Blow matched for blow. Block, dodge, and strike.
“Tired, brother?” Dark eyes glinted from beneath dark hair.
Connor adjusted the grip on his sword and matched his opponent’s mocking smirk.
“I’m just getting started.”

Summary
“Your faith in me in spite of our lack of previous cooperation is commendable, Detective.” Smiles Connor.
“Yeah, well, I’ve been told you’re incredibly. . . thorough.”
Actually, you’d heard he sticks his fingers into unknown specimens and licks them clean, but you don’t say that. Your gaze does drift to the hands gripping the wheel curiously, sizing up the digits. The android, or, the man, beside you wasn’t the first you’d encountered — in the modern world, they live freely and for the majority at peace. Revolutionized to adapt, to join society. After the Uprising, through some trial and error, androids were given the lives they so desire.
But none like Connor. None made just as interesting.

Summary
In the aftermath of a peaceful revolution, Detective Gavin Reed has to adjust when it comes to his work relations. The assholish version of Anderson's android gets assigned as his new partner. Not only that, but an assholish android who deems it necessary to not only question Gavin's professionalism but also invades his personal life. Ironically, the deviant may have a better grasp of living than Gavin Reed does.
What is there to say when you realize the machines you mistreated are no more a monster than you are?
------------------------------------
The RK900 thought this would be a simple task. Prove his invaluableness to the precinct, solve cases, and move up as quickly as possible. Annoying his partner was just a treat on top of an already perfect plan. But Gavin Reed may be the one mystery Nines can't solve. Especially when it turns out that the detective and the android may have more in common than he initially thought.
What do you do when your partner turns out to be something more than human or android altogether?

Summary
Cyberlife had planned extensively for the risk of deviancy with the RK800. When Markus tries to convince Connor to deviate at Jericho, Connor’s anti-deviancy program contains the problem.
The problem being Connor’s consciousness, of course.
