It's kind of crazy to think about it. They almost died, and the apocalypse almost happened. They were truly in the eye of the storm, and they just. beat it. The Krang was sent back to the prison dimension, and most of the humans are going to go back to their normal lives, unaware of the Hamatos in the sewer- the mutants who saved their lives. Five days after the would-be apocalypse, Donnie hangs out in the medbay with his family, each of them too anxious to spend too much time away from the other. It's late, everyone is asleep, and Donnie keeps thinking. It's good that Leo is awake too, they can talk.
