Astraea Mei Johnson was not yet born when her older sister was stolen away by men calling themselves S.H.I.E.L.D.
She was sixteen when her father brought her to Afterlife and she went through the Mist.
She was seventeen when she finally gained control over her abilities and was placed on S.H.I.E.L.D’s index.
At nineteen she was asked to join the Avengers Initiative.
And it was at twenty that her eyes found a perfect set of emeralds staring back at them.
Emeralds that would haunt her for the rest of time.
If only it were that simple.
