Summary
Truth is, he really doesn't want to be Officer Eiffel again. He was an asshole who drank himself half to death and hurt the people he cared about and got himself shot into space. He doesn't want to be that guy ever again.

Summary
Kids were never part of Jacobi's plan. Not by a long shot. (Then again, neither was the charismatic blunder that is Douglas Eiffel, and we all know how that turned out.)

Summary
There's been plenty of times in their relationship when Eiffel has considered strangling his fiancé. But Jacobi bolting awake at four in the morning and standing at the foot of their bed to look out the window is pretty high up on that list. Especially when he realizes this is about a duck.

Summary
Back on Earth, there are a surprising amount of things that somehow seem more difficult than surviving on a space station that had a new chain of command every five minutes and a plant monster living in the vents. Ballroom dancing is one of those. Dancing in gravity is one thing, but dancing in gravity that isn't just thrashing your body around and making crazy air guitar faces? Eiffel's pretty sure there are military commanders less strict than all the ballroom instructors on these YouTube tutorials.

Summary
The amount of times Eiffel and Minkowski have almost lost each other don't sit easy in their dreams. They've been living together for a while, and they end up falling asleep together more often than not just because they like to know that they're there, they're safe.

Summary
You know what you don't think you'll miss when you go to space? Rain. It falls because of gravity and air pressure and it isn't the same water filtered through a recycling system a billion times. If Minkowski's takeout goes cold because Eiffel decided to go get hypothermia, it might just be the last straw.

Summary
What's the first thing three washed up, exhausted, conspiracy-dodging astronauts want to do when they finally make it back to Earth? Stop at the nearest place that sells garbage coffee to desperate people, and get some real goddamn caffeine for the first time in four+ years. Eiffel is a dumbass, Minkowski is a smartass, as Lovelace tackles the rose-tinted goggles of nostalgia.

Summary
Finding it hard to be alone, but difficult to be around other people, Eiffel and Minkowski begin adjusting to life back on Earth. They move in together, but the gravity adjustment and the nightmares make it difficult for them both to sleep. Often they'll find each other watching TV late at night just to stay awake. And it's hard for them to remember that they're safe now.
