Tav, a noble Drow, gets it into her head that in order to really take over her mother's title as a drow matron she needs to have a daughter. The issue? She's been a vampire for forty years. Astarion is an ass about it, mocks her, and says something that inspires honestly some really messed up baby making-based magical trickery. Gale is, unfortunately, roped in.
