Norman and Emma have moved to Tokyo recently. They've heard so much about the city and wanted to live there. They were really close friends, but they were always missing one thing. Ray, they don't know where Ray went after they arrived in the human world. Little did they know that they haven't escaped the demons and that they would run into someone they cared about.

She wakes up in the middle of an Alaskan landscape, covered in scars; grasping an inexplicable loyalty to a faceless boy in her dreams, and the cryptic amulet around her neck. She has no memories-cannot even begin to imagine where she came from, much less, what her past is. The only evidence that she has existed beyond where she is now, is in her mind, hidden away. There is always a sense of grief, and loss that comes with every question left unanswered.
Ray, now in the Human World, harbours a guilt most unbearable as he is the one who thinks he drove Emma towards making that final promise. He feels, that to fulfill the promise, she has either died, or killed herself in a way disguised as a selfless sacrifice. But there is another part of him, buried deep inside, that hopes she is alive still. Somewhere out there, she breathes. And Ray will travel to the ends of the earth to find her. No matter what it takes, no matter the consequences.

It was 6 o’clock sharp, same time as every morning, “Emma! I can’t tie my shoes!” Someone cried “Emma!” Another yelled.
Emma, she was one of the eldest kids at gracefield, and by far the most cheerful. All the children were flocking to her, as they usually did, “ok-ok, calm down” Emma laughed awkwardly desperately trying to help them.
“You two, stop crowding her!” Gilda snapped finishing the last button on her shirt. Pure white, reflecting with stains if they ever got dirt or blood on them. all the exact same, uniform, white button up shirt, pants for boys, winter and sleep, Boots that reach around the shin area and an off-white cardigan, you don’t have to wear that one though. -

It wasn’t until he heard a loud thud and several people exclaim his name in confusion that he realised he had dropped whatever he had been holding in his hands.
As if on cue, his legs started failing him, and he was suddenly all too aware of just how heavy everything felt. He couldn’t help falling on his arse after taking a few steps back as an attempt to hold his balance.
Everyone turned to him, worried expressions on their faces, but Ray couldn’t pay attention to that. All he could focus on was the ghost of a friend he hadn’t seen in ages standing right in front of him.
/Or: Ray reacts entirely differently to seeing Norman alive after all these years and the trio have to work out all the suppressed emotions leading to that moment.
