This time, Peter, Erik, Charles, Raven, Kurt, and Hank all end up going camping, leaving behind society to brave nature as they try to withstand the forced closeness from being practically the only people for miles around. Peter wants to figure out why Erik has been avoiding him. Raven wants to figure out how to be a better mother to Kurt. Hank just wants to spot birds. Needless to say, it's going to be a rough ten days for all of them.

It had been a big relief that David and Pietro got along so well. The two little boys who seemed to struggle to get along with anyone else, but had quickly become best friends.
Not that it was all a positive thing as the two also had been gathering a reputation for getting into trouble. That, Erik knew to blame on his son and not David. Pietro had, after all, had that reputation almost since he was born. If he could find something to do that he shouldn’t, he would do it.
David, however, was mostly a well behaved child when left on his own. He was calm and polite, all too ready to sit around and play by himself, looking at books, playing a game on the TV, swinging outside on a swing, or asking to play hide and seek.
But, when the two got together, they quickly became little hellions. Pietro rubbed off on David but, unfortunately, David didn’t have the same influence on Pietro.
