The greatest part of Westeros has been at peace for nearly twenty years under the reign of Queen Daenerys Targaryen, First of Her Name. Ser Tyler Clegane, the illegitimate son of Ser Gregor the Mountain, tries to live by all the qualities that make an honourable knight: protect the weak, defend the innocent, serve the queen. The night before he leaves for King's Landing to say goodbye to his stepfather the Hand, he meets a strange blue-haired sharp-tongued Dornish wandering singer named Vor with a mysterious background and dreams of playing at court. He joins Tyler and his friends in their travel, not knowing that they will soon get caught up in the intrinsic politics of court life.
This is a story of love, loss, and the threat of a civil war looming great over the Iron Throne once more.
