Summary
Runaan's composure finally cracked under Ethari's teasing in the marketplace, and Rayla told them to go home. They don't quite make it before Ethari feels the need to reward Runaan's good efforts, and Runaan drops to his knees to take it.
If you're here specifically for the rating, you don't need to read the previous installment. The story bracketing the reason for the rating will make very little sense without it, though, so if you want that, definitely read the first "Challenge Season" fic first.

Summary
In the old days of arranged marriage, Moonshadow elves could challenge one another for the rights to marry their lover. Nowadays, the challenge that remains is nothing more than a good-natured ribbing contest, a game between the adults of the Silvergrove to allow their partners to show off their combat skills.
Every year since Runaan and Ethari were wed, another assassin named Silerian had challenged Ethari over this right. After two years believing Runaan dead, and another year of his absence, he attempts to make things a little easier on them. Turns out, he needn't have bothered, as Ethari has no intention of making it easier on him.
Runaan likes watching Ethari fight, and Ruthari get an unexpected visit from Rayllum.
