It's like a calm before the storm - a single spark between the two former enemies could cause an explosion, which would definitely result in yet another war.
There was only one thing linking together the two factions : an odd couple of celestial and hypogean, who should've been sworn enemies, along with their divine-weapon-turned foster kids.

A modern AU in which Gavus is a veterinary technician on the search for two kittens on the run and Eugen is a random dude he found in the trash.
