With Anne and Mark’s divorce out of the way, and Windsor Castle nearly burnt to an entire crisp, Queen Elizabeth figures that the only other awful happenstance is the fact that she’s forced into staying at Buckingham Palace until their trip to Sandringham. Rumours of martial unrest between the Waleses have been laid to rest by the news that Diana is pregnant, and Andrew’s reassignment to RNAS Portland has allowed the Yorks relationship to flourish. If it upsets Philip? Oh well. The last thing Elizabeth wants is another divorce in the family.
Rumours that erupt during Anne and Tim’s wedding regarding the parentage of the Wales baby are summarily dismissed, as are the rumours that the extra child the Yorks have been saddled with is the product of Charles and Camilla. Affairs are acceptable, being foolish with them is not. The Duchess of York’s attempts to feed into those rumours’ legitimacy is similarly rebuffed.
Over the Christmas holiday, ignoring the elephants in the room becomes a truly untenable situation.

Much to Her own dissatisfaction Her oldest son Charles turned out to be a spoiled incompetent brat Andrew proved himself to be just as useless and much reject-able. Only in Anne she saw a true benevolent Princess that cared for the People.

Not sure if you do requests and where to go for that. But I was wondering if you could write something where Diana and Charles end up having a third son like 10 years after William. And when this 3rd son is 16/17 at Eton he develops a crush on a classmate and realizes he’s gay or bi, they have a secret relationship and fall in love. But for obvious reasons he is wicked anxious (maybe he develops mental health issues?) about his family and the public finding out (maybe he just tells Will and/o Harry at first?)This is very random but the story idea was in my head but I’m wicked bad at writing so I figured my idea might be a good suggestion lol
