    Summary

Antinous, youngest son of a mortal king but secretly sired by Zeus, carries a scar from his father’s thunder that marks him as chosen — and cursed. Denied a place in his own house, he sets his sights on Ithaca, believing that to wed Penelope is to crown himself.
But Telemachus, prince of Ithaca, is no meek heir.

He sees through Antinous’s hunger for power, hates him for it, and burns with the fire of his own gods. When Athena herself places her hand on Telemachus’s shoulder, and whispers that love and ruin often come cloaked together, the boy who despises his enemy begins to crave him instead.

Send me your requests for Epic The Musical one shots! I'm a big fan of hurt/comfort and general whump... Honestly, helping fictional characters sort through their issues is way more fun and fulfilling than sorting my own life out. Happy to write about any character from Epic struggling with illness, injury, self doubt, depression ect. I prefer my fics to have happy endings, so if you're looking for all hurt no comfort please let me know in your request.

    Summary

Telemachus had long grown accustomed to life without a father. He had learned to navigate the jeers and constant harassment of the suitors, until even his own home, the grand palace that should have been his sanctuary, felt like a prison. In the absence of authority, he'd gotten used to his own freedom, answering to no one. But all of that begins to unravel when his father returns ..not alone, but accompanied by a god.

    Summary

“You look just like your father.”

For as long as Telemachus could remember, those words seemed to have followed him since his birth. He heard them traded among the court, the servants, the townsfolk — Mama had even told him, once, that it had been her first thought when he was born, that he was undeniably his father's son.

He had always delighted in that title. Odysseides, the son of Odysseus — even if he had far too few memories of his father to truly remember what he was like.

(The four times Telemachus was compared to his father, the one time his father compared him to his mother).

    Summary

Ever since his father decided to give up the crown and retire to be a vineyard farmer, Odysseus has found himself to be Ithaca's youngest-ever ruler, left neck-deep in island shenanigans and the ever-delicate politics of the Ionian archipelago. At least he has his sister and best bros Polites and Eumaeus by his side, not to mention Athena: his ever-present life coach.

He's just a boy, after all.

A pre-canon one-shot taking place before the events of EPIC: The Musical, drawing inspiration from the Odyssey.

    Summary

"He proceeded towards the window, slowly, as if he was trying to delay the inevitable.
When, suddenly, with that abnormal lucidity that occasionally arises in situations that seem desperate, a question made its way into his mind: what if all that was not inevitable?
Odysseus froze again, the bundle still clutched in his arms.
Prophecies are always destined to come true. But who had said that? Had anyone ever really tried to avoid them?
What if... What if it was possible?"

Basically, an AU in which Odysseus spares Astyanax/Scamandrius, gambling everything in an attempt to prove that prophecies can be avoided.

Until you reach a place where people don’t know the of ships that fly on ocean waves. When a traveller will ask you if what you have with you is a fan to winnow grain, you’ll know you have found the land you are searching for. There, where no one knows what the ocean is, you will plant your oar in the ground and build a temple for the God of the sea. At last, you will be allowed to get back home, live to the end of your years and die a painless death, far from the sea”

    Summary

This is more a series of short stories than real chapters, but I'm lumping them together because I want Eurylochus and Ctimene to have a story. Even if the relationship is doomed by the narrative, even if they're oceans apart, even if Homer & Co didn't write it down--there's a story there. And the more of us that set out to give Ctimene a voice, the better.

Inspired and heavily influenced by Jorge Rivera Herrans' brilliant EPIC: The Musical, but I pulled in some bits from the classics too.
