Summary
It is the twenty first century and Telemachus is the son of one of the most influential politicians in the area, Odysseus. He is also being held hostage by the most powerful crime lord in the area, Antinous. Telemachus is forced to work for a crime syndicate that trains orphans into assassins and thieves. Telemachus doesn't understand why he has been imprisoned for over a year. However, when Antinous begins to reveal his schemes, Telemachus realizes that Antinous doesn't just want him as a bargaining chip. No, Antinous is much more interested in using Telemachus for his own benefit...in more ways than one.

This is my version of ‘EPIC: The Musical’. It includes cut songs, cut verses, fan songs, fan verses, and mashups of cut and final songs. In parentheses there will be the actions of the characters, which I added after being inspired to do so by ObiWanKenobiObsessed’s story ‘His Journey Home’, which I highly recommend reading. Summary
Right when Antinous saw Telemachus, he knew he was a threat.
Just by looking at him, Antinous could tell that he was loyal. That he was a little mama’s boy. That he would stop Antinous from reaching his goal of marrying into his family. Arguably, he didn’t think any of the suitors would like to serve as a stepfather for that boy. He was young, lithe, and weak. He had no fighting bone in his body. Still, he could be a danger to what he was trying to do.
He had to eliminate the threat as quickly as possible.

Telemachus' father Odysseus vanished when his plane went down over the Appalachian mountains seven years ago, and no one has seen him since. Unfortunately, this means his story is like catnip to every conspiracy theorist in a thousand mile radius. Telemachus is just trying to keep these losers from re-traumatizing his mom- and himself, to be perfectly honest- but some of them are getting increasingly persistent. One in particular is adamant about getting Telemachus alone for an interview. At least, Telemachus really hopes it's just for an interview. He'd rather be focusing on other things...like the massive crush he's been nurturing for his childhood best friend.

Everyone had been begging the king for answers. They had suspected he had something to do with Poseidon’s anger. Everyone in the kingdom seemed to suspect him of angering the gods. That was the only thing that explained the constant storms that plundered their islands, or the sudden droughts that arrived days later.
Odysseus had remained silent through it all. He neither confirmed nor denied the rumours. Just let them spread like a disease through the kingdom, causing outrage from the civilians who were affected by the god’s wrath.
“We both changed for the worst,” the king replied. “We had different circumstances that brought that change, some more noble than others, but we both went through it. Now, we are both trying to heal. To escape the man we turned into. To find the comfort we once had. To earn a place next to our loved ones.”
Antinous scoffed. There were no similarities between the two. Yet when the king spoke in that solemn tone, filled with guilt and grief he almost believed it.

Growing up, Telemachus couldn't wait for two things. The first was his father coming home. He'd dreamt how he'd greet him, daydreaming about how his father would hug him and tell him how proud he was of Telemachus. The second was presenting as an alpha. How could he not with two amazing alpha parents like Odysseus and Penelope? He was told by so many that he would grow up to be an amazing warrior, like his parents; that he would be an amazing ruler, like his parents; that he would be an amazing alpha, like his parents.
And then, he turned ten and two terrible things happened. His father never returned home and Telemachus presented as an omega. His training halted and he wasn't eligible to take the throne anymore, all of his dreams gone up in smoke like they’d never mattered to begin with.
And now, 108 suitors infest their halls, vying for his hand. Telemachus isn’t strong or brave like his parents. Honestly, he isn’t much of anything. But, they can’t stall for much longer, and Telemachus knows that he will have to stand tall and strong to survive the upcoming storm. He’s just not sure he won’t break under the pressure.
