Summary
Qrow watched him turn to leave. Before he left, Qrow added, “He told me about you.” Qrow watched King James freeze, “You were the one that found him after he was captured as a kid. He thought of you as good friends.”

“Clearly he trusted you, which is more than I can say for myself.” He took the last few steps to the door. “You will meet the brothers tomorrow morning at the end of a rope. Upon their judgment and with their grace, may you be reunited with him.” And then he vanished.Series

Summary
Qrow's hands are not suited for tenderness, not worthy of care.
Clover's hands are meant for service, for giving enough to meet all the needs of those that rely on him, not to need care themselves.Their touch towards the other should find no purchase, no way to fit into all the ways their lives have shaped their hands to be.
But somehow, they did.
Because there was something in their hold on each other worth breaking every rule they had built up to protect themselves for. They just had to find a way to see it clearly, together.

“Yeah. Just a memory that I had forgotten about, decided to make it self remembered again.”

Summary
They landed in the pit with Qrow on top of Clover, who was face down in the dirt and his back against Qrow’s chest. Qrow pushed himself up, and Clover pushed back onto his knees in front of him, which caused his ass to brush up against Qrow’s thighs. Images of Qrow’s past lovers pop into his mind, as he had the slight urge to push back against Clover. Qrow shook his head. Fake kissing to hide Clover from the Royal Guard does not imply that he has an interest in him or an interest in having a romp with a man that was escorting him across Anima, in a hunters trap no less, regardless how good of a kisser Clover was.
(Feel free to skip if the Mature rating isn't your cup of tea. It won't hurt your understanding of the story as a whole.)
