Expect a lot of murder, a lot of lesbianism, a lot of 80s accurate costuming and pop culture references, and a bunch of masterful 1980s needledrops. Also - if you cannot already tell - I'm going to make MANY changes to the film's canon because it has...many glaring issues.

Sam doesn’t relent, and continues to follow her. With each pounding footstep trailing behind her, Deena grits her teeth harder.
“Deena!” Sam tries. “C’mon! You can’t just… run away from this.”
Isn’t that what you did? Run away from this? From us? Deena bites her tongue, stopping the venom from spilling from her mouth. It burns in her throat. She slows to a stop, looking to the side, eyes still red.
“Fine.” She turns, fed up. “What do you wanna say?”

Max Mayfield, is struggling to overcome the trauma of her past. After her step-brother is killed by the Mind Flayer she goes to summer camp back in California where she survives a brutal attack at Camp Nightwing. Tommy Slater slaughtered twelve kids, including her sister Cindy. Max is left scarred—physically and emotionally. She feels abandoned by her family, especially after the suicide of her father, who left behind a note that made it clear she never mattered to him. Now, living with her alcoholic, distant mother, Susan, Max feels more alone than ever, even if her friends still try to help her despite her pushing them away. Max wrestles with the painful memories of her past, the curse of Shadyside that has haunted her, and the overwhelming sense that no matter how hard she tries to escape, the darkness always finds her. She feels trapped by her past, unable to outrun the shadow that looms over her life.
Or: Max is Ziggy, and after Billy dies, she goes to camp where the events of Fear Street Part 2 happen. This will be a rewrite of season four if max went to camp nightwing i promise there will be an eventual happy ending
