Earth barely managed to avoid its own annihilation thanks to the last second assistance of new alien visitors. Slowly, civilizations that had been nearly destroyed through nuclear warfare, famine, and disease are rebuilt with the Autobots' help.
But the Autobots' assistance isn't entirely altruistic. Earth has something they want. Because mixed with the millions of others are humans with spark signatures and the potential to become sparklings. And the Autobots who had believed they were doomed to a slow extinction, have no intention of letting their new little ones go.

That's the reason why he needs to get to the lower levels, nothing has to do with the Worst Autobot Ever, Rodimus is only there to get the Lost Night started again, that. Is. IT!

D-16 uses the pen name Megatron to revolutionise his ideas before being put to work near the core of the planet and ultimately heading off to Maccadam's, which may or may not change the utmost projectory of his life.
Oh yeah, he also meets a cogless Orion Pax who's determined to help D-16/Megatron make a change in their functionalist society. However, one gets a cog before the other and causing a slight turmoil in how they view each other's impact.
(Very much IDW-filled with only briefs of TFO in it)

Unfortunately, said harpy is about as wild as they get and suffers for it at the hands of an infamous group.

On the medical slab lay a poor femme, paint job a dim coloring, littered with scratches and scrapes. One optic flickering between off and on, the other dangling out of its socket, dripping fluids down the side of her helm. Her neck cables occasionally sparking, little bolts flying out as if trying to escape their fate. Her left arm was deformed and twisted, basically an Energon preztel. Her lower abdominal plate was removed, set to the side on a metal table. The mesh underneath was sliced open, intestines twitching and bulging obscenely as they continued functioning.
The quiet, barely-there sobs continued.
Ratchet simply transformed his left servo and aimed it directly at her faceplate with an almost disinterested expression. His voice was gruff as he spoke, not unkind, but exasperated.
" This time, stay in stasis."

Bluestreak would never forget the day Praxus was destroyed. He wasn’t sure if he even wanted to if he was being honest. If anyone asked he would say of course he would, who wouldn’t want to forget the worst thing that ever happened to him? But deep in his spark, Bluestreak knew that day would always be a part of him, whether he wanted it to or not.
Praxus was destroyed by the Decepticons. Bluestreak was the only survivor by design. Part of him wished he died with the rest of his home.

For a moment, just for a moment, Ratchet imagined himself walking the few meters that separated him from the small door, being greeted by the mech's captivating smile, being able to touch his shining white armor, possessing him for a few joors.
The thought alone sent a shiver down his spine strut.Realizing how pathetic he must look—an old medic, standing there, admiring a mech out of his reach and budget - he decided it was definitely time to go home. But, before he could leave, the stranger in white caught his optics again. This time the mech smiled -right at him-, placing a servo against the glass between them, tilting his helm slightly to the side, toward the door.
