Summary
Scar’s transferring into his second year at Hermiton College of Craft and Engineering, ready to dive into environmental architecture and leave Seattle behind. What he doesn’t expect is to recognise one of his fellow students from his flight — Grian, all sharp sarcasm, easy confidence, and way too many mutual friends.
Grian’s back in England after a decade in the States, settling into business classes and hiding his cat in a dorm he technically shouldn’t have. Running into Scar again wasn’t part of the plan — but neither was getting paired up for a campus-wide project.
Between lectures, group trips, suspiciously enthusiastic classmates, and a few too many close calls with contraband pets, college life gets complicated fast. But maybe that’s not such a bad thing.
