After a bathroom break, Gable takes a moment to visit their convalescing coworker. The disappointment of the visit quickly fades as they take a moment to pass the time with a cardgame that bears some resemblance to the wizards' duel. Gable is nagged throughout by a sense that they are closer than they should be to Nodoze as a frail (not frail) and breakable (only compared to immortals) mortal (this one is true) individual, but further than they'd like. What responsibility do they have as shepherd of humanity, and what desires do they have as wolf?

They wind up grounded in a port called, Dockside, a place that's pirate friendly, guild run, and secrets traded faster than bits. Travis had, in that moment, been infinitely grateful that rabbits don’t blush. If they did, not even Gable would’ve been able to miss how appealing he found that idea. He must have had some sort of reaction, though, because the look on Gable’s face shifted and they were starting to say something when he responded.
“Do you promise?” He asked them sweetly, batting his eyelashes as well as a bunny could.
