Summary
This is the events of FF7 (1997) through the eyes of Vincent Valentine and Yuffie Kisaragi. I wanted to share a story about a group of strangers who are beginning to form intense bonds while traveling and fighting a war all while under severe emotional stress. This is about each person assuming a specific role within the group and how all of them all starting to have a profound influence over each other’s lives. It has a lot of meaning to me.
Will it be 110% accurate at all times? No - please don’t be angry if I changed a few details. Will Vincent and Yuffie hook up? No. This is not that kind of story. But if you want an angsty work where the two outsiders of the group get too deep into each other’s head’s whether they mean to or not, then I am sharing this for you.
As for continuity, I consider Remake & Intergrade to be a sequel or a wonderfully weird time loop that takes place some time after Dirge of Cerberus. This story is focused on the original FF7, though I will likely go as far as Advent Children, and possibly Dirge if I have it in me.
I've also added a separate work for detailed warnings about this story since I didn't feel the official tags were specific enough.
