Luke Hemmings died years ago. Ever since then he has been spending all the time he had in his afterlife by sitting on the school bench, being literally invisible to everyone. At least that's what he thought.
When Ashton Irwin first bumped into him, he was shocked. He normally couldn't touch anyone. But later on he understood and he tried his hardest to stay in touch with the boy, although it was making Ashton kinda annoyed after some time.//
Please don't judge this only because of the paranormal elements of the story. Between Luke and Ashton there will be normal interactions, the only thing that's different is that nobody else can see Luke, touch him or hear him. Only Ashton, that's why Luke really tries not to let him go.

A what-if situation in which Asch is the one who returns home, and for the sake of things he assumes his old role as 'Luke' again, but obviously it feels weird and wrong because well, he hasn't been that person for ten years (seven consciously, but whatever), and then the others make things worse by starting to forget that he was once replaced by a replica, and then the worst happen.
Which was said replica appearing and being insufferable with his depression. -

Of course, this means that when his parents leave him alone for nights on end to fend for himself against the demons that he claims to be living in the Clifford house, this causes a lot of problems. Glasses are shattered, doors are slammed and many tears are shed - but after coming face-to-face with the boy who has been scaring him for months, Michael realises that being haunted isn't so bad after all.

Michael turns around from where he's standing in front of the stove, making scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast, to see Calum with an honest to god newspaper in his hands. Michael wasn't even aware that they still subscribed to it.
“What's up?” He asks as he goes back to cooking, finishing up the last few pieces of bacon before he splits the food up on two plates, but Calum doesn't reply as he's too busy reading whatever headline there is for today. “Cal?”

Written before "The Son of Neptune" was out - My take on what should have happened during the search.
Since "Lost Hero" mentioned that Grover, Tyson, the hunters and Nico were looking for Percy, I imagined them looking for Percy together. So enjoy their little road trip of misfits and how they find Percy. But Percy doesn't have any memories, so Nico has to find a way to restore them while also making Percy fall in love with him. -
