Summary
When Guy lands a role in a Broadway play, Noël Coward suggests he and Thomas stay with his new friend Harold Levinson during their time in New York. Thomas reluctantly agrees, but grows far more skeptical about the arrangement when Lady Mary turns up out of the blue to visit her uncle.
Also, Noël is in New York, acting in Private Lives, and bringing sunshine wherever he goes.

Summary
Augustus Berrycloth-Young is coming to Hollywood for the sun and the stars.
Lucien Gibbs is coming to Hollywood for the stories and the stars. (Also for Augustus Berrycloth-Young.)
Guy Dexter is one of those stars. He’d prefer to control those stories. (Especially the ones that might be about him.)
So is Don Lockwood. So is Kathy Selden. So is Lina Lamont. (And do I need to go on?)
So, in a way, is Roscoe Dexter, the guy who sent out the invitation and is hoping for some much-needed cash to support his movie projects.
Maximillian Beauregard is just doing his job, keeping his charges safe and sane. He’s the one with the hardest job. Except for maybe Thomas Barrow, who has to keep his lover sane when dealing with all of the above.
A script with maybe dark magic, darker accounting (which anyone in LA knows is the darkest of all arts), and the utter evil that is the Hay’s Code. One in which every player has utterly lost the plot.

Summary
Looking out at the sea, Thomas loses track of time. Eventually, the ship’s horn blares and the ground lurches under his feet as the engines begin to steam. Guy joins him on the balcony just as they set sail, leaning up against the rail next to him, close enough for their elbows to brush. It’s a little strange knowing he doesn’t need to conceal how the easy touch pleases him.
“What are you thinking?” Guy’s voice is soft as his smile. Thomas watches as his eyes flit down to his lips and back and for once, doesn’t have to rush away from the thought of kissing him, nor worry about keeping his expression blank. They’ve got nearly a fortnight with little to do but get used to each other with as much privacy as they like.
Thomas and Guy spend their first night truly alone together when they set sail across the Atlantic, and work out what they (hope to) mean to each other.

Summary
It took a month to film The Gambler at Downton Abbey, Thomas and Guy must have had more chances to talk than we got to see in the film.
This is a scene I imagined could happen to give Guy the confidence to ask Thomas to go to America with him.

Summary
A modern Baxley au, in which Molesley is a script writer who suddenly gets invited to premiers and interviews, the worst part? He isn't only the most nervous person you have met, he also has terribly taste in clothes.
Thank God Thomas knows a good fashion designer named Phyllis Baxter -

Summary
For better or for worse, Guy Dexter is very charming.
This is a fact Thomas ardently believes to be directly responsible for his current predicament. Said predicament being flushed red from his cheeks to his chest, standing near-naked in a London hotel room while Guy admires the sheer silk slip and soft, lilac lace arcing over his hip from his sitting chair in the corner of the room, covering so little it would hardly be worth mentioning if not for the way it somehow serves to make him feel even more exposed than if he were simply naked altogether.
“God, but if you aren’t the loveliest thing,” Guy purrs, the tenor of his voice rolling down Thomas’ spine like honey off a silver spoon. “Give us a little spin, darling?”
Age Difference AU | Thomas is dressed in drag for the film and Guy whisks him away for a weekend to help him get into character by way of coaxing him into some rather flattering lingerie.

Summary
“Need a light?”
Something about the voice is familiar, but Thomas doesn’t place it right away.
It’s late afternoon and they’re mid-way through rehearsals, Thomas has just excused himself from the studio for a smoke. He’s patting down his pockets in search of his lighter, already knowing that it’s most likely been left tucked into Guy’s pocket. When he turns around, he’s met with —
“Jimmy?” he gapes, knowing he must look a fool and yet unable to help himself. “Jimmy bloody Kent, is that really you!?”
Thomas runs into Jimmy outside the studio where Guy is filming. After an evening spent catching up, Guy thinks it's rather a shame Thomas and Jimmy — who has come to terms with his sexuality since they've last seen each other — never got their day in the sun.

Summary
A little peek into the lives of Thomas Barrow and Guy Dexter.
I'm new to writing fanfic and wanted to explore the ups and downs of their relationship. It does all work out in the end though, Thomas went through enough in the show!
Also I'm dyslexic, please forgive odd spellings as I struggle with proof reading.

Summary
One more entry into the ‘Thomas Barrow is Downton’s Legitimate Heir’ meme.
Except the heir isn’t Thomas Barrow, and the word ‘legitimate’ is only technically correct.
No matter. The results are… pretty much the same.

Summary
"I love you, Thomas..."
The actor said.Thomas looked at him with tears in his eyes. Guy stood there, admiring his lover, dreaming of the impossible.
"I know...I just- I wish it were that simple..."
Thomas answered, his voice barely above a whisper."I love you too"
He managed to get out.

Summary
Thomas Barrow is full of surprises.
He’s competent and handsome, full of biting commentary and acerbic wit when Guy manages to catch him speaking freely. He’s a doll with the children, and he has the look of a man with stories to tell, whether he realizes it or not. Guy watches him closely enough he should know, and finds his mind filled with questions he’d love the opportunity to ask, because what captures his attention most of all about Thomas is that something about him is simply inspiring. Guy feels inspired in his presence.
He’s also, of course, absolutely bloody packing.
Guy catches a glimpse of what Thomas is packing and immediately rearranges his priorities.

Summary
Guy’s schedule is — well, it’s a bloody mess.
When Guy had suggested Thomas might take care of him, he’d assumed the pretense of their working relationship would be just that: a pretense, an excuse for them to stay close, perhaps something to keep Thomas occupied while Guy was busy shooting on top of providing a convenient title to introduce him by in polite company.
He was very, very mistaken — or, if he wasn’t, he ought to be, because if he was, it could only be due to blissful ignorance on Guy’s part. The deeper Thomas digs into the way Guy manages his time and his life, the clearer it becomes that the whole thing is held together with matchsticks and glue, running anything but smoothly, and maintaining the outward illusion of such a thing only by the grace of god and Guy’s own charisma.
Piece by piece, Thomas takes control, and it suits both he and Guy perfectly.

Summary
When Guy was informed they’d be filming and lodging in some grand old countryside estate, it promised to be a lovely diversion. Some time away from it all, so to speak, not to mention an excuse to stop-in on an old friend or two once it all wrapped. And it has, indeed, been all of those things and more, because what he couldn’t have predicted is —
“You rang for tea, sir?”
Thomas Barrow, Downton’s finest footman in all senses of the word, stands in the doorway of Guy’s borrowed bedroom, back stiff as his upper lip, tray balanced neatly in his hands, blue eyes piercing as ever. He has been the most lovely of surprises. Guy isn’t deluded enough to pretend, even to himself, that he wasn’t initially drawn in by a pretty face, but good looks go for a dime a dozen in his industry, and what’s held his interest runs a little deeper than that.
Age difference AU. Thomas is still an ambitious young man serving as a footman when Hollywood comes to Downton.
