He made a mistake, he broke her heart. He wants to take it all back, but the circumstances refuse to grant him a second chance. A complication regarding a mission stood in their way. An unknown force seemingly controls the strings of fate and destiny.
The mission was everything. Failure was never an option. Love and dreaming of a future were a luxury she couldn’t afford. It was a costly mistake, one that he was going to pay the price for. She was going to break his heart in a way he’d never recover like Howlett. How was she supposed to reconcile that she loved him more than anything, and yet she’d hurt him beyond forgiveness.
