After the defeat of Zoma at the hands of Erdrick and the death of the beloved Dragon Queen, High Priest Hargon is left to pick up the pieces and carry on with his queen's final request: to take care of her egg.
The problem? Well, the egg isn't due to hatch for another 150 years, well beyond Hargon's lifetime. Since he doesn't trust anyone to carry out his master's orders correctly in the future, he goes on a journey to Underworld--Alefguard--to find the Sphere of Darkness, a ball that can grant any wish--but at a hefty price.
