Summary
Out of all of the files she compiled, the Joker was one huge contender on her list but it was a cliché choice. All the psychiatrists have studied him, written books about the Clown Prince of Crime, and claimed they’ve cracked the Joker. One after another, a newbie would exclaim that they know what to do to advance the studies of Jokerology and delve into his mind. All in all, no one really had a definite answer to why Joker is the way he is.
Unfortunately, he isn’t in Arkham right now, so Dr. Quinzel did not have the option to study the Joker-- even if she wanted to. Yet, as she studied each profile of the patients of Arkham Asylum, a few things caught her eye. Joker: green hair, red lips. Poison Ivy: red hair, green lips. They had extreme personalities, chaos tends to follow their every step (one loudly and the other more quietly), and they both held possible answers to Harleen’s thesis question: how did their sense of empathy deteriorate? Luckily, Poison Ivy is currently at Arkham.

What it says on the tin, basically. I read Harleen a while ago. I kind of enjoyed it, but it annoyed me a lot. For some reason I decided to write about it now.
