Summary
It's been three years since WWII has ended. Japan is still in a state of reconstruction. Eiko and Seita are bestowed with the responsibility of taking care of their siblings. They're at their wits end and in a state of desperation; Eiko is torn apart between her responsibilities as a surrogate mother and forgiving the boy who just wanted them to survive—while hurting her in the process.
Even when it's over, war never truly ends.
