Okay, maybe he got into serious trouble after all because of his decisions. But to be honest, it's hard to say that it's all his fault, and if George wanted to blame anyone but himself, it would be Sapnap, who abandoned him when he sided with the villains without explaining anything.
At first, there was a hope that his mind had been manipulated or that he had been threatened. But after he went on a mission from the association, perhaps to help or bring back his friend, he found that Sapnap felt completely at ease among those with whom he had recently fought fiercely. On top of that, he was now attacking the buildings of the heroes association and the heroes themselves with even more enthusiasm.
So, he completed the main mission, realizing that it was impossible to bring Sapnap back. But he couldn't just leave without finding out the reason for his transition. Sapnap was his childhood friend, his brother, his family, and George knew that he mattered just as much to a member of his family, if not more, given how possessive the hybrid demons were of their pack. So why, ignoring his own instincts, did he abandon George and all their beliefs? This remained completely unknown.

That was a new voice. A new voice that spooked Sapnap enough to squeeze the hand in his grip, and just as well.
Quackity shrieked, his feet slipping from beneath him as he tilted forwards, falling towards to ocean below. Swinging precariously by the one hand in Sapnap's grasp, he looked up. The lights of the ship twinkled in his eyes as they started to glaze over, his face paling rapidly as his chest heaved haphazardly.
"Sapnap," He choked, "Sapnap, I don't want to die. Sapnap, please."
"I've got you!" Sapnap reassured, head whipping around to the new guy, the one who'd got Quackity into this mess. He was frozen in place, about 10 feet away, "Oi! Come and help!"
