High crime was common in the area where he worked there were a lot of people going missing and showing up dead specifically male prostitutes which he was a part of. One night after being saved by a strange man and offering him a reward he is confused when the man rejects him. After Alastor tries to kill him he should be terrified but he finds himself drawn to the strange man and his lacky sort of friend Husk. When he develops feelings for Alastor and Husk he starts to question his morality but Angel isn't without his demons.
