Summary
Theo Raeken is haunted by the nightmares about his sister ripping his heart out over and over again. There's only so much one can take. This nerve-racking ordeal is driving Theo over the edge, to the point that he decides to stop sleeping at all.
He experiments with what’s left in the Dread Doctors’ labs to find something that would allow him to never fall asleep again, but nothing works. Until he accidentally learns that in his shifted state he doesn’t need rest. His werewolf form and his glowing eyes keep him awake.
But Theo is not aware of the side-effects yet. His supernatural side begins to take over, he’s losing control, it’s harder and harder to return to the human form, and nightmares turn into hallucinations. The connection with reality is starting to slip through Theo’s fingers.
Liam saves him (albeit rather gracelessly) in the nick of time.
