Harry Potter thought everything would become ‘normal’ after he went to Hogwarts.
On the night Hagrid broke into that rickety old house that Harry stayed with the Dursleys, the night when Harry finally knew the truth about himself being a wizard, he believed that monsters would stop attacking him. He expected that he wouldn’t see weird things that others don’t even notice anymore. He hoped that the words on his textbooks would finally line up properly on the page for him to read (which they apparently didn’t for the last 11 years of his short, miserable life). He thought he would just be the same as any other ordinary witch or wizard.
But obviously he isn’t.
It wasn’t merely because Harry is the ‘boy-who-lived’ or ‘the chosen one’, as people called him. It also wasn’t because he is the youngest Quidditch player in the last century. And it definitely wasn’t because of his inability pay a teensy-weensy bit of attention in class.
From the first time Harry stepped on the Hogwarts Express, he knew that something is off.
