“As always it’s just me and my producer Stan the Man- he's really manning the phone line tonight as it lights up with all the calls from my adoring fans.” There’s a beat of silence that followed for dramatic effect before the host laughed at his own joke.
His voice has a slight nasal tone to it, and Eddie should find it annoying, but he doesn’t. Eddie even snorted in amusement at the dramatic silence with a smile forming at the corners of his mouth. He turned the volume up.
“Ah yes, my favorite sound in the world- Stan's frown and a dead phone line. But fear not! I don’t need anyone else to bless your ears with my endless chatter. I’m perfectly capable of holding engaging conversations on my own. Just ask all the duds I’ve gone on dates with.”

Richie had watched Eddie die, watched as he'd been ripped from his arms, impaled straight through the chest. And as for Stan, he hadn't even been in Derry, he'd died before they'd even stepped foot over the county line. But they're both here, and they're talking, and they haven't noticed the other five crowding the entrance of the Townhouse bar, covered in grime and muck and blood, staring at them in complete shock.

Richie shot him a sharp glance, his jaw clenched. "What the fuck do you mean, Eddie?" Richie’s voice was sharp now, the usual humour stripped away.
Eddie flinched, the words hitting harder than Richie probably intended. He had to swallow down the sudden lump in his throat. He wasn’t angry at Richie: he was just... scared. Scared that if he didn’t push through this, Richie would drift further and further away.

It's been years since the Losers defeated Pennywise, but the affects of that night still lingered. All of the Losers seemed to have moved on. They had kids, steady careers; they were happy.
