Summary
Natasha wasn't created to be gentle. The title of Black Widow belonged only to the strong and ruthless. She had red in her ledger, and she was washing it out, one drop at a time. She wasn't ignorant; she knew she would never absolve herself of her past sins, nor could she expect anyone to be able to look entirely past her history and see who she really was underneath. Perhaps she had never really been anyone but a killer to begin with.
Enter Kendra Hickman, an ex-SHIELD agent that broke past her barriers with nothing but a kind smile on her face.
