What he is not counting on is Alexandra, the young woman who lives on the edge of Bozeman who may or may not be playing Momma (a role she was NOT born to play) until the mysterious Dutton comes home. By that point though his daughter is very different to the one he left behind.

Just a fix it for 1923 because I will never believe that Alex wouldn't have gotten on the train in Sheridan. I thought it would be a one shot but it's starting to have a life of its own. It is my first story so be kind. I own nothing and all characters belong to Taylor Sheridan even if he doesn't treat them well.
