Sybil was quite honestly all too familiar with the smell of blood. For a moment, and just a moment, when she had woken up late that night, she thought maybe she had been trapped back in her old apartment alone once again. It took her eyes little time to properly adjust to the light within her bedroom, and an even shorter time to properly place just where the smell was coming from.
It wasn’t her old apartment, thankfully, unfortunately the source was instead her partner beside her.
