Wade Wilson is having a fucking whole bad month. Yes. He and Vanessa aren't getting back. They are done. She told him that she can't do it again. And he gets it. And she's happy now, moving on and with a new person. He's happy for her, he really is. He just feels bad about this. He feels… he feels like a failure and this feeds his sick brain. It keeps telling him that it was all his fault, and that it's what he deserves, because no one can really love him and stay.
Then Logan starts to treat him nicely when Wade needs the most. Yes, he's touching him, rubbing on him, licking him like a very good dog, and it's all amazing, but Wade just knows Logan is just trying to show his gratitude. And Wade should say to him that he got it, that he doesn't need to be doing it, but Wade doesn't want him to stop. No, he wants more. For Logan to touch more, to get more of him. He's a fucking bastard, he will take all he can. See? He's bad and egoist. He knows he could never be worth it. But he keeps wishing for it.
Yes. He's always like this, always making stupid educated wishes that never will come true.

He does, he lets Logan licks his pretty scarred face, like it’s normal, like it's nothing, he even enjoys it, and likes to give back, what surprised Logan at first, he also lets him rub his face on him on a regular basis, and smell, yes, he lets Logan smell him all over, in disgusting places, even when he's dirty, what's absurd, but the younger man takes all this naturally, gladly, like Logan isn't a freak.
And it should be enough that he found someone that's okay with this part of him and that truly loves him. But he keeps thinking about it, imagining, needing.

Wade's smile dropped completely. He stared blankly at Logan, his expression unreadable. For a moment, Logan’s heart sank; he thought he’d crossed a line, that Wade would try to let him down easy with some joke.
But instead, Wade did something entirely unexpected.
He started laughing. The goddamn idiot started laughing.
Logan froze, his mouth parting slightly as he stared at Wade in disbelief. His hands remained lightly wrapped around Wade, uncertain if he should hold or let go. He didn’t know what to say or how to respond.
Eventually, the laughter died down, leaving behind an almost eerie quiet. Wade’s expression shifted, his haze turning serious and guarded. He looked at Logan, his eyes soft as he said quietly, “You don’t like me, Logan. Not like that.”

And I regularly found myself in the worst of it. From slave to drug trades, to poaching, to black market deals, there wasn't much I didn't sink my teeth into.

Candles, socks, and gift cards are all too generic – Logan might not know what to get Wade, but he sure as hell isn’t going to get something so painfully normal for Wade fucking Wilson. But that’s a whole lot of things not to get for him, and Logan still hasn’t come up with a single good gift idea. What kind of gift do you get for a guy like Wade? Logan chews on his lower lip, tastes blood. What do you give the guy who saved your life? What do you give the man who pulled you out of your rotting corpse of a universe and breathed the life back into you? What do you give someone who changed you forever?
Not a Yankee fucking candle, that’s for damn sure.
