2 identical bracelets. Each given at the age of 13. M.A engraved on one and S.K engraved on the other.
"Never stop looking for this person okay? They'll make you the happiest person alive and you won’t feel lonely anymore." Kiyoomi's mother said, handing him a gold bracelet, holding a metal plate along with two small pearls on each side.
Years later, when Kiyoomi was 16, he had his older sisters reach out to different people. They asked if they knew anyone with the given initials, but to no avail.
"Honestly this whole thing is pretty stupid,” one of Kiyoomi's older sisters blurted out, resting her chin on the palm of her hand. "But I don't think you should give up looking for this person just yet,” she said, jumping off the stool she was sitting on.
"You think so?" Kiyoomi asked, holding the bracelet in his hand. His sister gave him a reassuring smile before nodding. Kiyoomi sighed, lips curling into a small smile. This was going to be quite the adventure.
