Summary
George Washington has been elected as the first president of the united states after the second civil war. In the wake of trying to piece together the remains of the divided country, he establishes an illegal board of advisors, and word spreads that Washington will choose whoever he sees fit among them to take over as the next leader of the country. Upcoming government lawyer Aaron Burr catches wind of the board, and is prepared to use any means necessary to earn a seat in, as he calls it, "the room where it happens."
It begins to look to the board that Alexander will be next in line for the presidency, and Alexander thinks so too- until an unexpected obstacle stands in his way. -

“He's just in the bathroom, he should be coming any second now.” Lafayette replied. He was always so nonchalant, and Alexander sometimes envied that.
Peggy sighed, a bit dramatically. “It's a man?” She grumbled. “I was so hoping that I'd get to slowly build an all female team. I’m pretty sure enough men work here.”
Lafayette peeked out from the little cubicle wall that he'd gone behind, waving Alexander over. It was a bit silly, given that Laf was taller than the divider, and Alex couldn't help but smile.

George Washington's summer home on the outskirts of his Mount Vernon estate has been in a state of disrepair ever since its last caretaker abandoned the property. For years the house has stood empty unable to be sold until now.
Joseph Stern a long time descendant of Thomas Jefferson (who was the last owner of the home) finds out the property now belongs to him and happily moves in with his best friend Barclay planning to make it into a profitable business.
Unknown to both of them is the ghosts that remain trapped on the property not all of whom are happy about someone new moving in.
However a freak accident may be the thing that changes everything and will forever alter the lives of Joseph and the ghosts who are now....visible to him?
