Sherlock Holmes is one of the most popular characters of all time, with hundreds of adaptations and stories written by countless authors. While I cannot say which adaptation of the character and his stories are the best, I can definitively say that BBC’s Sherlock is inferior weak shit compared to Sherlock Gnomes.
A lot of this will be me shitting on BBC Sherlock while praising Sherlock Gnomes. I’m a big fan of both versions, and I know for a fact I’m going to be praising both versions. I just think Sherlock’s ideal state is being a garden gnome instead of whatever the fuck is up with Benedict Cumberbatch.

In a universe where there’s a brilliant detective with antisocial-personality disorder and a golden heart retired military doctor that lives together in a flat in London. The two of which being best friends and other than having to go on eccentric, horrific and sometimes comedic cases, experimenting on dead bodies, and loud bickering that would keep neighbors up. A fateful day where a box with a decapitated head placed carefully inside wrapped in beautiful, almost divine feathers keeping it calm comes in the mail, and a cherubic girl crashes into London with mystifying large skin-peeling wounds on her back resulting in a rather incomprehensible case. Which ushers those involved to question the possibility of divinity.

Ever since returning from Afghanistan John feels wrong, at odds with the world around him. It doesn't feel the same as it did, and he's plagued by a dream of something that never happened. But it felt as if it did, it felt real. A voice in it stirs unrecognizable feelings of familiarity which leaves the Army doctor confused, even more so when he meets the owner of the voice whom he'd never met before.
In a life as long as Sherlock's he doesn't expect surprises. However that's just what he gets when he finds a familiar scent drifting on the wind. One that died with it's owner more than a century before. And yet John Watson exists, not quite as he did before but it is still him. The same man, in a different life of his own, making a second appearance in Sherlock's.

Nothing is ever dull again. -
