Dreams about her husband, calling on her to come to him. To try and piece it all together, she buries herself in his esoteric research and uncovers something surprising.
Not only is it possible that her husband isn’t dead, he might not be human, either.

Christine's performance is a success. Among the audience is the Vicomte Raoul de Chagny, who recognizes her as his childhood playmate and recalls his love for her. He attempts to visit her backstage, where he hears a woman complimenting her from inside her dressing room. He investigates the room once Christine leaves, only to find it empty. Faced with the opportunity for a new life, Christine finds herself in a crazy and loving scenario. Where a masked protective woman, an angelic being who teaches her how to sing, gets in her way, disturbing the possible romance between her and Raoul. But the major problem is that her angel would never let she see her without the mask, hiding a disturbing secret beneath it.
