Summary

There is a tradition in Kitakami called Obon, and the first one for the deceased is important. It's been more than 49 days since Kieran's funeral, and this year for his family is very important. Juliana is invited, but unsure if she should be there. And even though her friends are at her side, she still wonders, and misses the boy who once was her friend.
But Kitakami seems plagued by a strange force– a vengeful spirit or curse? There's definitely something going on there, and Juliana is determined to help where she can. That was until something, or someone even stranger is welcomed back with the spirits, and the boundaries of space and time are distorted.
