Summary
"Can I hug you?" Jaik asked. Jullus nodded, a quick motion, and suddenly, he found himself enveloped by the warmth that the viera radiated. He let himself sink into it, let Jaik reshape him, remold him. Jullus wrapped his arms around him, resting his head on Jaik's shoulder as Jaik joined him on the camp bed, which creaked alarmingly under their combined weight. Fresh tears slid into his pink sweater, yet Jaik didn't seem to mind, only rubbing Jullus' back, filling him with that warmth that Jullus had first noticed when huddling at Alisiae's campfire after they'd found the ceruleum in the lake of Solis Park. He knew, now, that it was Jaik's warmth, a wonderful side effect of black magic. Jullus had always believed black mages to be unhinged at best and downright dangerous at worst, yet Jaik had been flipping Jullus' expectations on their head ever since they'd met. Something that was starting to make his heart wobble, to make him want to throw everything aside and fall into this new feeling.
