Summary
The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted is meant to be a sanctuary, a place where supernatural beings can learn to control their abilities and find where they belong. The Mikaelson's lost their youngest member right after she was born or so they thought. In reality Hope's death had been faked and she had been taken and raised by Triad since she was a child along with Landon. Hope always knew she was the tribrid, that she was meant to destroy Malivore, she was their greatest weapon and their greatest fear. Landon grew up knowing he was a phoenix and the son of Malivore. Despite destiny saying they should be enemies the two kids formed an unbreakable bond becoming each other's family. After their escape the two end up in Mystic Falls where they meet some interesting people. Despite how hard they've fought they'll realize they've never been able to change their fate.

Landon, never was plan A for Malivore, he wasn’t even supposed to get involved in the supernatural world altogether, but plans change. Malivore wasn’t stupid enough to leave this extreme emergency last resort of a safety plan unprotected and waste another eon stuck as this mud, oil, tar, pit to be used by these insignificant worms, he would get access to the near immorality of the phoenix along with his own power, and when combined with his own powers his vassal wouldn’t ever need to fear danger. And never hurt his chances of survival to give him an unknowing Demonic bodyguard.

Josie was desperate join the court, to escape small town life, to be something more than the Pastor's daughter and maybe later a Pastor's wife. But her father banned her and Lizzie from ever going across that bridge, and all she had was Hope connecting her to that mysterious world.
Hope was cursed. To be a mindless beast every full moon. Hope was cursed, to rule the supernatural world that was mismangaed with an understaffed court and immortal and mortal creatures who all wanted something from her life. She wanted someone to see her for her. To be able to breathe the fresh air and not smell blood and hate and mistrust. To not accidently kill the townsfolk who won't stop coming for her.
Lizzie was tired of the whispers. Lizzie was tired of being managed. Lizzie was tired of episodes and not knowing what was wrong in her head. She wanted someone who would love her. She was scared to be a spinster. She was scared to be alone. And she was feeling Josie slip away.

He's charming and down to earth and he doesn't care about Hope's freaky family.
She should know better than to fall for him. Her life is complicated enough as it is, and as the situation at the Salvatore School and in New Orleans deteriorates, everyone is Hope's life is going to be forced to take a side, and Hope will have to choose to step up or run away.
