Alas, fate, or perhaps sheer ill fortune, conspired against him in the form of an obnoxious noble. A gentleman whose attire was so opulent it might as well have rivaled His Majesty the King’s, simply would not leave him be. Yoojin found himself contemplating, with a surge of violence, whether to simply liberate his wine glass onto the insufferable blonde's pristine silks. The man then had the unmitigated gall to remark upon Yoojin's beauty in white, boldly stating he might as well be his bride.

That the same star he wished upon would come to him so that the star would protect his wish... and maybe… Yoojin himself.

They all said that Sung Hyunjae accepted such a proposal out of pity. Han Yoojin also agreed with this statement. Otherwise, he had no other reason to convince himself that the Grand Duke of Seseong, who owned a larger and more fertile territory, would be willing to give up other better opportunities and be tied to the dying Haeyeon.

Song Taewon is used to waking up to the shrieking sound of his alarm blaring at him to get up and go to work. He’s even used to waking up to his phone ringing from an urgent call telling him he’s needed immediately even though it’s three in the morning and he hasn’t had a decent night’s sleep in weeks. What he’s not used to is waking up naked and sore in a bed he doesn’t recognize to someone screeching in his ears. He likes to think that he’s pretty good at rolling with the punches, he has to be in order to survive doing what he does, but this might be stretching it a little.
He distinctly remembers going to sleep in his own bed last night, fully clothed, after finishing his latest batch of paperwork. Did someone move him here while he was asleep? How? He’s not a heavy sleeper, no S-class is with their enhanced senses, so how could somebody have moved him all the way to wherever here is? Yoojin didn’t understand why the universe forced her to carry around the knowledge of what Sung Hyunjin’s panties looked like. The picture was becoming torturously clearer with each time she was forced to recall that image with such vicious frequency as if Yoojin was some kind of pervert thinking about a woman’s panties for hours.
This was Sung Hyunjin’s damn fault for flashing her and laughing it off with the flimsy excuse that Yoojin had seen much more at the pool. A lot of nerve she had to say that when Yoojin had been tossing and turning for hours. She needed to drink this problem away.
Drink into oblivion the image of Sung Hyunjin smiling devilishly as she lifted her hem to expose her underwear that would’ve left little to anyone else’s imagination but Yoojin’s.
Sung Hyunjin is about as unpredictable and infuriatingly attractive as Han Yoojin is driven completely mad from it.
