Summary
Sylvara is a practical and wise cleric of Mielikki from a remote wood-elven village when she gets abducted by mindflayers. Gale is an over-enthusiastic and brilliant wizard from Waterdeep, if slightly arrogant. Sylvara begrudgingly allows him to travel with her to find a cure for their parasite when his knowledge proves to be useful. But there's more to him than meets the eye, and Sylvara finds herself falling for the charming wizard, despite herself.
*This is based on my duo-run with Gale. It includes Wyll, Karlach, and Lae'zel in the party as well in certain situations, but primarily focuses on Sylvara x Gale.

Shadowheart has a way about her that can easily be construed as casually flirty or intentionally seductive. While she’s not ‘whack you over the head with a frying pan’ kind of flirty—like Astarion—Karlach can tell Shadowheart is the sort of girl who plays her pretty face and excruciatingly hot body to her advantage without ever letting it be known if she’s really interested, or if she’s just stringing you along because it amuses her to know that you’re interested. It’d been so damn long since she’s been confronted by someone she’d actually want that the confusion and uncertainty of it all is enough to fry her recently scrambled brains.
Karlach also can’t remember if this is just what it feels like to have a big fat crush on a person.

Things were starting to look up. Celine and Karlach were able to settle down in a cottage outside of Baldur's Gate with all of the money they received during their adventures and saving the city. They eventually were able to get married! Dammon was able to find a solution to Karlach's overheating, and eventual blowup of her infernal engine, so she was able to remain in Baldur's Gate for the time being.

Despite having a bit of a shady background, you have always been the responsible one. A lended ear, a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on. You fulfill your obligations and always make good on your promises, by whatever means necessary. This is the role you've been assigned, and despite its many pressures, you think you've accepted it.
Taking all the risk and reaping none of the rewards is nothing new to you, but it's a shame that everything is such high risk these days.
Alien lifeforms, a cultish uprising, and a parasite taking up much needed space in your skull would all be bad enough on their own. But a dragonborn with a penchant for the macabre has solidified himself as the leader of your “eccentric” little group, and you're once again left to clean up other people's messes.
It doesn't help that you've gone and latched onto the dragonborn's biggest enabler, either.
