Summary
Sky turned around, half expecting to find a monster behind him, but he couldn’t make anything out in the darkness and rain. Maybe there was something Time could see that he couldn’t?
“Everyone!” Time shouted behind him, not taking his eyes off Sky. Sky blinked at him in nervous confusion, opening his mouth but then closing it. It was good Time was getting everybody else, right? They could help.
The trees behind him rustled. He startled, turning to see the rest of the group stepping into the small clearing, swords and shields reflecting off of their respective light sources. They surrounded Sky, and he was struck by the strange feeling that all of their cautious glares were directed his way.
...Did they not recognize him?-
Or,
Sky has an unfortunate experience with a lightning storm and undergoes some... changes. Everything goes downhill from there.

It has been three years since the fall of Calamity Ganon and peace has been restored to Hyrule, along with a vernal relationship between Princess Zelda and her Hero of Time, Link. However, when Link suddenly disappears, Zelda turns to the Goddess, Hylia, for answers. What she receives is devastating news. Link has been sent to another world, in a deep slumber, awaiting the time when he will be needed yet again. Zelda, unable to bear his loss from her side, asks for one thing. The chance to find him, no matter the cost, and the cost for World Walking is a hefty toll to pay. She must now traverse between worlds, searching for HER Link, all the while being careful not to alter the course of history for the citizens of those same worlds. “I don’t understand,” he says, and his arms are wrapped around himself now, as if he is cold. They are in Hebra, yes, but he can’t help but feel as if the cold has nothing to do with how he is beginning to shiver.
“What do you mean you don’t understand?” Revali demands, turning back to him, his glare even deeper on his face than before. “I’ve expressed myself clearly to you many times before - it is no fault of mine that you see yourself as better than I simply because of the sword on your back. Surely you cannot blame me for cutting my losses here - I’ve wasted enough time on you as it is.”
“I-I don’t understand,” Link repeats, because for once, he truly doesn’t know how it was that he didn’t please this individual. He thought he understood, before, but Revali has grown more and more upset, and Link simply does not understand what he has done wrong to cause this.
He wants to fix this.
It is the first time in his life he can ever truly remember wanting something.
It is as his vision begins to blur (he doesn't know why) that Revali’s expression shifts.

Link evaded at just the right time. Around him time slowed, and he raised his own sword—hoping to make clean work of this beast.
But amidst the stillness, dread crept up to him. No longer accompanied by the ghosts of the champions, he felt his mortality suddenly weigh on him like the crushing weight of all his and Zelda’s newfound responsibilities. In slow motion he glanced, wide-eyed at the Lynel, whose eyes seemed to glisten with some strange understanding.
And then it spoke.
“Hero of Hyrule, it’s been a while—“
Or, when a kingdom is still haunted by its past, it’s up to Link and Zelda to step up to the task and become Hyrule’s new hope. But paving a way to a brighter tomorrow will prove difficult when a new threat emerges from buried secrets and built-up vengeance. But under no circumstance must Link and Zelda cave under the pressure—for Hyrule’s sake.
