“Death.” The boy says and Death’s smiles, all sharp teeth and glowering eyes that instil fear in everything living. The humans who had summoned him before this child had all but cowered in his presence, words failing them as they trembled in fear before him. But, this child held no such regard. The boy’s green eyes gleamed with fascination.
“Yes, child. You have summoned me.” Death acknowledges, and the boy’s eyes widen at the confirmation. “What is it that you want from me?”
He can already make the assumptions. From all his years of existing, Death knows what mortals want from him. Vitality, longevity and power. He peers down at the small frame of the young boy, who seems to hesitate momentarily, before taking in a deep breath.
The boy looks up at him, his eyes determined and Death wonders what the boy plans on asking him. Would it be wealth, riches, fantasies? The boy opens his mouth and speaks,
“Will you be my friend?”

However, because Chloé didn't want to mess up their friendship if he doesn't like her back, she hasn't told him. Adrien likes Chloé back, but, in proper Agreste fashion, couldn't figure out that she liked him. Marinette– along with everyone else in Mdm. Bustier’s class– knows that they like each other but haven't told each other yet. Marinette doesn't fall in love with Adrien– she isn't that mean to Chloé– and Chat Noir doesn't fall for Ladybug– he loves someone else. Chloé and Marinette are really good friends, but they prank each other so much that it's really hard to tell. Marinette does to Chloé here what Alya does to Marinette in the CU. Marinette even already has a boyfriend.

Protecting Paris seems like something she should love, especially with her handsome partner Crimson by her side, but with the city fearful and untrusting of Lady Noire’s destructive powers the stress slowly begins tearing her up from the inside out.
Adrien thought going to school would be the big change of his life, but a kwami called Tikki and the villain Monarch swiftly proves to be the adventure he never even dreamed of having. Being Crimson Beetle gives him the freedom he’s always wanted, and while he’s used to being in the spotlight being hailed the leader and savior is something entirely new. It’s nearly as overwhelming as his crush on Marinette– but at least that’s a normal teenage thing.
